If you have deleted a phone number from your android device then you can retrieve it within 30 days if it is saved in Google contacts which generally done by default in android device.


To check Go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and select Accounts and backup.
Select “Accounts”.
Select the account where you have saved the contacts.
Select “Sync account”.
If you see contacts button is enabled then you have synced and saved your contact from your device to the google account.
Now let me delete a contact from my device.
Now I will go to chrome and open a site contacts.google.com
I need to log into my google account where I have saved the contacts
Tap on the menu.
Expand more.
Select “undo changes”.
Now select the time when you want to go back. You can go back up to 30 days that means you have to restore contacts within 30days.
Now let me set the duration.
Select “Confirm”.
You will see the contacts now appear in the list.
Now you have to sync contacts again.
So, go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and select Accounts and backup.
Select “Accounts”.
Select the account where you have saved the contacts.
Select “sync account”.
Now the contact will appear in the list.
