Let us pray together for the year ahead.
Almighty God, creator and source of all love, we begin this year honoring You. You are faithful, merciful, and unchanging.
We praise You for Your light that overcomes darkness and for the gift of Jesus, a sign of Your unending grace.
Humbly, we acknowledge our failures from the past year—the moments we chose fear over faith and pride over humility.
Forgive us, Lord. Cleanse our hearts, teach us from our mistakes, and help us release the burdens that no longer serve Your purpose.
With grateful hearts, we thank You for sustaining us.
For health that sustained us, for the gift of family and friends, and for Your faithful presence that protected, strengthened, and carried us through every trial, seen and unseen.
You were always there, shaping us and reminding us we were never alone.
Now, we bring our hopes for 2026 to You. We pray for health, for peace, and for our families.
Guide our leaders with wisdom and compassion. Teach us to be instruments of Your peace, choosing love over anger.
We place this year into Your hands, trusting that You go before us. Amen.
