PROJECT STEPS
1. One of your duties as a marketing manager for Harris Insurance Group is to create the monthly newsletter that is emailed to all of the company's customers. You are updating the newsletter with a new nameplate and other graphic elements.

Convert the text "Harris Insurance Group" at the top of the page to WordArt using the Fill: Green, Accent color 4; Soft Bevel option in the WordArt gallery.
2. Format the WordArt shape as follows so that it fills the space at the top of the newsletter:
a. Change the text wrapping to Top and Bottom.
b. Resize the WordArt to a height of 1" and a width of 7".
3. Format the WordArt text as follows to draw attention to the nameplate:
a. Change the font to Arial Rounded MT Bold.
b. Change the font size to 42 pt.
c. Change the text fill by applying the Medium Gradient – Accent 4 preset gradient fill color (3rd row, 4th column in the Preset gradients dropdown).
d. Apply the Offset: Bottom Left Shadow effect (1st row, 3rd column in the Outer section).
4. Insert a Continuous section break at the beginning of the first body paragraph ("Even the best planned trips…") to prepare for setting the article text into columns.
5. Apply a newsletter format to the article text as follows:
a. Format a portion of the article text (beginning "Reason #1…" and ending "Contact us today for a quote!" at the end of Reason #5) so that it is displayed in two columns.
b. Change the column width to 3.3".
6. To include a professional typeface element, add a drop cap as follows:
a. Format the first letter in the article text (the "E" in "Even") as a drop cap using the Dropped style.
b. Change the font color of the drop cap to Teal, Accent 6 (1st row, far-right column in the Theme Colors gallery).
7. Complete and resize the SmartArt on Page 2 as follows:
a. Insert the picture Support_WD365_7A_Baggage.png in the picture placeholder for the "Baggage Protection" shape.
b. Change the height of the SmartArt graphic to 2.4" so the SmartArt graphic moves to page 1, then resize it to a width of 7".
8. Insert a Page break at the beginning of the "Benefits of Harris Travel Insurance Plans" heading paragraph to set its position at the top of page 2.
9. Call attention to a key point using a text box as follows:
a. Draw a text box and set its height at 1" and its width at 3.2".
b. Insert text as an object from the file Support_WD365_7A_Quote.docx without copying and pasting the text.
c. Format the text box with the Subtle Effect – Teal, Accent 6 shape style.
d. Change the text wrapping on the box to Square.
e. Move the text box to an absolute horizontal position of 0.3" to the right of the Column and an absolute vertical position of 4.1" below the Page to balance the page.
10. Format and reposition the picture of the woman on the beach as follows:
a. Crop the picture so the bottom edge is level with the bottom edge of the text box and the left edge is even with 4.5" on the ruler bar.
b. Flip the picture horizontally.
c. Move the anchor of the picture to the "Benefits of Harris Travel Insurance Plans" heading.
Your document should look like the Final Figure on the following pages. Save your changes, close the document, and then exit Word. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
