I never liked the Battle Arena. If I set up a Power team in a way that each Pokemon has a suitable type, speed, attack and/or bulk with carious types of moves it became easy. I'd beat every Pokemon before the 3 round limit was over 8 times out of 10.
On top of that, I literally had to dumb down my team for this video. I was originally going to use Kenina (my Volcarona), but she annihilated BOTH of Greta's teams without even trying. Even when I dumbed her stats down to practically nothing. Greta's teams are terrible, and don't really serve a challenge outside of MAYBE her Gengar. In my honest opinion, the Battle Arena was boring, but that's just me. It seemed weak, and had a weak Brain. I guess it doesn't help I never went in there without my Blaziken do to the fact her team is weak to both Fire and Fighting. Ugh, enough ranting. This is one of two facilities I didn't care for too much, but this was by far the worst facility in Emerald's Battle Frontier. Again though, that's just my opinion.
I could not get the same system in the game that the Battle Arena had in Emerald. It just isn't possible, so a normal battle will have to do.
I chose to put Greta in Dewford's Gym do to Scott (I think) saying Chuck and Brawly were role models for her in the anime. So, I went with that.
I decided to throw Scott in at the last minute, and yes, I know he looks like a younger Wattson in shades, but Wattson had the best body type to get Scott almost entirely accurate.
The music used in the Gym was the Battle Arena's theme with "updated instruments." I found a MIDI for it online, and threw that together real quick.(by that I mean about a day) I didn't find ONE Battle Arena remix, so I took it into my hands to make my own specifically for this video. It's not great, in fact, it kind of sucks, but it's good enough.
Greta looks normal compared to Tucker, so getting her OW model to look more like her was simpler.

I will not be distributing these hacks. Sorry, but I don't feel they're worth releasing as they're literally just changing music, artworks and teams around. They make for some good videos, but that's about it. If I feel up to it someday I may release a patch for you all to download, but it'd still just be OR/AS with new Trainers and music, and where is the fun in playing that? If I knew even the first thing about making maps on an engine like this, I'd be all for making a hackrom for you all to play, but as it is that isn't a possibility for me.
I do what I do using a legitimate Alpha Sapphire, Y, Homebrew Software, and the tools found on ProjectPokemon.org and GBATemp.
