Why we use 4140 steel for all our Tomahawks, axes, Fokos, and chopping up a 2x4 and then shaving

Описание к видео Why we use 4140 steel for all our Tomahawks, axes, Fokos, and chopping up a 2x4 and then shaving

In this video we explain why we use the steel 4140, and what makes up 4140, such as carbon and chromoly and molybdenum.
Also explaining why someone could think tomahawks (or axes for that matter) can’t chop well.
And demonstrating what a properly sharpened and properly heat treated tomahawk, made out of 4140 can do, including chopping up a 2x4 to chips and then shaving.
