Emerald Triangle Tour Ubon Ratchathani Thailand 4K

Ich bin in der Nord Ost Region von Thailand unterwegs, in der Provinz Ubon Ratchathani. Meine Entdeckungstour beginnt am EMERALD TRIANGLE Border etwa 2 Autostunden östlich von Ubon Ratchathani.
Die Don Rek Mountain Ranges bilden hier die natürliche Grenze mit Kambodscha und Laos, das Dreiländer Eck ist fast unberührte Wildnis nicht auch deswegen da es immer wieder Grenzkonflikte mit Kambodscha gab.
Die Grenze ist geschlossen und es gibt keinen Grenzverkehr seit vielen Jahren.
Die Tour beginn beginnt am Chong Bok Hill einem Stausee, danach gehts zur Anhöhe 500 mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf Kambodscha.
Danach Weiterfahrt zum Wat Namtok Bon Charoean Tham, etwa 3km auf schlecht ausgebauter Strasse.
Der wunderschöne Tempel ist ein magischer Ort, die Geister und Gottheiten dieser ursprünglichen Region sind hier zu Hause.

Vorsicht: wegen Landminen sollte man nicht selbstständig Trekking touren unternehmen und von dem Weg abweichen!!!

I am travelling in the north-east region of Thailand, in the province of Ubon Ratchathani. My discovery tour begins at the EMERALD TRIANGLE Border, about 2 hours drive east of Ubon Ratchathani.
The Don Rek Mountain Ranges form the natural border with Cambodia and Laos, the border triangle is almost untouched wilderness, not least because there have been repeated border conflicts with Cambodia.
The border is closed and there has been no border traffic for many years.
The tour begins at Chong Bok Hill, a reservoir, then goes to hill 500 with a beautiful view of Cambodia.
Then continue to Wat Namtok Bon Charoean Tham, about 3km on a poorly maintained road.
The beautiful temple is a magical place, the spirits and deities of this original region are at home here.

Caution: due to landmines, you should not go on trekking tours on your own and deviate from the path!!!
