U.S. President Donald Trump received a blessing on Sunday (October 18) as he attended a church service whilst out on the campaign trail in Nevada.

The pastor and members of the congregation raised their hands in the air to bless Trump during the service at the International Church of Las Vegas.

As the congregation opened their prayers to the president, Trump was seen opening his pockets as he counted money to make an offering to the church.

While Trump has spoken very little about his own Presbyterian faith and rarely attends church, he works closely with evangelical Christians and has put their causes of restricting abortion and preserving gun ownership at the top of his policy agenda.

The Republican president will campaign every day leading up to Thursday's (October 22) debate in Florida, including stops in Arizona and North Carolina, campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh said.
