Tonya Burns-Sheehan is one of the greatest players in Iowa State women’s basketball history. The school’s first women’s hoopster to have her jersey retired and elected to the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame, Burns-Sheehan graduated in 1985 with an incredible 33 school records, including career points and rebounds. She also scored 42 points in a game, a school record that still stands. The three-time All-Big Eight honoree will return to Ames in February for the 50th anniversary of women’s basketball celebration and she joins us in our latest CyCast.
