Gud aur Phalli ki Patti/Chikki or Jaggery and Groundnut cookies from Maimoona Yasmeen's Recipes

Ingredients:

Jaggery (Gud):300 grams (nearly 1 1/2 standard cup)
Groundnuts (phalli): 200 grams (nearly 1 1/2 standard cup)
Water: 1/4th cup

Procedure:

1. Heat a frying pan, add groundnuts to this pre-heated pan and roast till they turn light brown.
2. Remove from the pan and peel the skin of the groundnuts.
3. Add jaggery pieces to the pan. Add 1/4th cup water and cook till all the lumps are dissolved and the jaggery syrup attains a thick and sticky consistency.
4. Add roasted and peeled ground nuts to the jaggery syrup.
5. Mix thoroughly and spread jaggery and groundnut on a greased plate (Apply or spread 1 teaspoon oil on a plate for greasing).
6. Spread the jaggery and groundnuts evenly on the plate and leave this to cool.

Gud aur Phalli ki patti/chikki or Jaggery and groundnut cookies are ready.
