My Grand Plan (from The Lightning Thief Musical) 【covered by Anna】

Hello everyone! This week I sang My Grand Plan (from The Lightning Thief musical)!

Am I like 3 years late? Absolutely! But that’s okay!

I actually liked the musical so much, I started reading through the book series. I think one of the joys of being a grown-up is being able to read/watch (consume?) and enjoy the series you never got into as a kid. I’ve been doing that exact thing a lot lately and it seems to be something I do more and more often the older I get. I think there is something freeing in being able to do whatever you want (within reason, obviously) and as a kid you imagine yourself getting into all sorts of shenanigans as you get older but the reality is, you just spend a lot of money and time reading and watching the things you were never into as a kid. Well, that and spending an absurd amount of money on Dungeons and Dragons. I still think 13 y/o Anna would be pleased with 22 y/o Anna though.

Is anybody else like this? Are there any series you didn’t like (or didn’t want to get into) as a kid that you then picked up as an adult? Please let me know! I’m genuinely very interested in hearing what others have to say.
