Some time ago I had my good friend Barry Kassab do a presence mod on my Budda Superdrive 45 series II head amplifier (switchable from the back of the amp). I am really happy with the result and how much more this amp can deliver now. Just working here on having a softer touch than I used to have when playing and only digging in when I want to get more that aggressive tone. This amp is so Dynamic and responsive to touch that you can stay on the same channel and just change things with your touch and guitar volume and tone.

Used my Gibson Les Paul Classic with Bare knuckle The Mule humbuckers that I had installed. Also used through out the hole recording the Okko TwinSonic booster and the Wampler Faux Echo direct into the front end of my Budda Superdrive 45 series II head amplifier with the large 2x12 Bogner cabinet. Used a three mic combination to record the sound. For close miking I used the Shure SM57 paired with the AT4050ASM Audio Technica microphone on the Bogner 2x12 large cabinet and the DPA IMK4061 Omni mic as room mic. The Shure and the Audio Technica go to the API A2D mic preamp, and then to the Antelope Orion Studio interface. The DPA mic goes direct to the Orion Studio.

Audio recorded direct to Protools 12.
