Now You Can Recycle Your 3D Prints Affordably*

Описание к видео Now You Can Recycle Your 3D Prints Affordably*

This video is part 4 of my attempt to build an affordable 3D Printer filament recycling setup - the last of the series. Brought to you by PCBWay. Go to https://www.pcbway.com/activity/anniv... and get EXCLUSIVE discounts as they celebrate their 10th anniversary 🎉

What feels like a lifetime - and a lot of wasted money - ago, I set out on a pretty ambitious project: To create a DIY, at-home rig that could recycle 3d printer waste into brand new filament... and which was reproducible by all of you at home.

My project's progress parts 1 to 3 ➡️    • Recycling 3D Printer Filament

It's been a heck of a journey, with a lot of learning, expensive mistakes, and frustration along the way... but I finally have something to show for it...

These 3D prints that I'm going to show in this video are made entirely from recycled 3D prints, supports, and purge lines, which I ground up myself, with 0 additives or new material... and they're not half bad!

So in this video, we're going to talk about what it took to get here, what I learned along the way, and whether or not it makes sense for YOU to replicate my setup at home. Ultimately, we're going to answer the following questions: Can you recycle failed 3D prints, at home, for less than $2,000? Is a filament recycler economically viably for the average user? Is the artme 3d filament maker the solution to this problem? Or is it just another filament extrusion machine that is out of reach for the average user? And ultimately, should you make your own filament at home? Or should the "average" user not really bother to recycle 3d printer waste at all?
