This multi-part lift tour of Auckland's Commercial Bay developments continues with Part 2, exploring the newest (and last) development: One Queen Street, housing the InterContinental hotel and the Deloitte Centre offices! Naturally, this building boasts extremely posh designs and architectures, and it also comes with its own handful of elevators to ride and document. Just like the Commercial Bay shopping centre, we have an all-Schindler shop with majority-5500s, but here we do actually get a fair share of Schindler's other mainstream models too! The featured article on Schindler's site mentions three 7000s installed, which is puzzling given the setup and layout of the office tower lifts, and there is even a smaller shuttle lift from street level to the office lobby. Small? Maybe. Interesting to explore? Absolutely!
