This new redfish lure color test puts a white and a black swimbait head to head on a shallow grass flat that was full of redfish.

The lure used is called The Mulligan. It's a 4 inch swimbait lure that casts a mile and has great tail action as it is retrieved making it a top choice for summer time fishing.

As you'll see, the redfish ended up hitting both lures, but one of them did stand out as the winner.

That being said, the most telling conclusion from the experiment is that spot selection is the most important factor of all given that both test colors as well as the third one that was tried all caught some fish.
