Product Info: Create cool patterns with sand, water, and gravity when you put together the Discovery 3D Motion Sandscape. Just follow the instructions to fill the Sandscape with sand and soapy water, and then every time you rotate the Sandscape display in the base, gravity kicks in, pulling the sand down into the water and creating swirling patterns. These are called turbulent eddies, a phenomena that occurs in fluid flow. A large color poster provides more information about sand, water, and eddies.
