Elite Dangerous - How The Heck Did It Come to THIS?! The Thargoid Situation

So how on Earth did it come to this? Events in Elite Dangerous, that are now seven years in the making, have over-spilled into what may well prove to be somewhat of a disaster.

The Thargoids are Coming, and maybe in a new form! Or at least that is how it seems.

The so called Stargoids – space anomalies widely believed to be Thargoid in origin, are now visible from Earth. We don’t yet know what it means…but we do know how we got here – and in many ways it is all a bit of a mess, stemming from numerous problems that could easily been avoided.
