COPENHAGEN AIRPORT Departure Process - Check-in, Departure and an Airport Tour

We are at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark, also called Copenhagen International Airport or in Danish, Københavns Lufthavn. The Airport Code for Copenhagen Airport is CPH. In this video we show you how to, and what it is like, to depart from Copenhagen Airport on an International Flight to a Non-Schengen country. Our flight is with Qatar Airways from Copenhagen Airport to Qatar´s Doha Airport called Hamad International Airport.

In this video we will show you the entire Departure Process at Copenhagen Airport and we will take you on a Tour of Copenhagen Airport all the way to our Departure Gate for our Qatar Airways Flight. This video begins where we have just arrived at Copenhagen Airport with the Copenhagen Metro. We arrive in Copenhagen Airport´s Terminal 3 and from there we take the walk to Terminal 2. Copenhagen Airport´s Terminal 3 is reserved for SAS, Scandinavian Airlines Flight Check-ins and one or two other Star Alliance Member Airline Check-ins such as Thai Airways. Once we arrive at Terminal 2 we fin the Check-in Desks and Check-in for our flight with Qatar Airways. Our Luggage is also dropped off at the Check-in and it is Checked-in all the way to our final destination (we have a connection flight from Doha to Penang). After Check-in we proceed upstairs through Airport Security (not shown in the video). After passing through Airport Security we make our way through the big Duty Free Shopping Area. Our first priority is to see what planes are out on the Apron and we then make our way down to our Bank to Exchange money. Copenhagen Airport has a few Money Exchange Bureaus located around the Airport Terminals. One we have exchanged money we make our way to one of the Copenhagen Airport Lounges where we spend a few hours. Copenhagen Airport has 3 paid access airport lounges and you can choose between the Eventyr Lounge, the Apartment Lounge and the Carlsberg Aviator Lounge. Once we have spent a few hours at the Copenhagen Airport Lounge we chose it is time to make our way to our Departure Gate for our Qatar Airways Flight to Doha. We take you on the walk through the airport up until the Immigration, Passport Control Area (not shown in the video). Once we have passed through Immigration we take you on a walk all the way to our Gate Lounge where you can see our waiting Qatar Airways Boeing 777.
