Alex has made some of the more commercially successful and engaging Feature Documentaries of recent years, Off his own bat.
A brilliant example of someone following their calling a little later in life, leaving a successful career in Law. His work up to date Includes: Older than Ireland, The Irish Pub, both of which screened all over the USA and Europe, Picking up a hat full of awards. Most recently he Directed and produced Abbeyfeale Good for Rte Television. Which has everyone talking.
Alex's good nature and communication skills are evident in his work and their massive reach worldwide. Testament to his hard work and original singular ideas.

IN THE BLUE CORNER...
Gerard Walsh is a pal of FNI and apart from being an Filmmaker with a big BIG heart for causes and a massive social conscience, happens also to be a multi award winning filmmaker from Dublin's inner City. Which he wears with a great deal of pride. After graduation from Ballyfermot College of Further Education, Gerard went on to direct several short films which received notable critical acclaim and awards.

Moving on from short films in recent years, Gerard has Co written and directed/ Co produced three feature films which have travelled overseas to international festivals to the USA, South America and around Europe, screened theatrically, broadcast on Tv in Ireland and Australia. His work had the privilege of winning best film awards and being very well reviewed. Ger's Feature works include "A Day Like Today" "South" and "Release" Ger unusually has had three features one after screened at the Galway Film Fleadh. Must be a record.

In his spare time Gerard also creates online content for Charities, For the Craic and for Cool Brands, and his work in that regards has received over 100 million views collectively. A filmmaker with his finger on the pulse of content creation and human emotion.
