HUD will soon release a new rule to implement a long-standing provision of the Fair Housing Act intended to tackle the legacy of racial segregation and concentrated poverty across our nation. The "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing" (AFFH) rule will provide local jurisdictions with the tools and data they need to identify and address local barriers to fair housing and equal opportunity and connect that analysis with their plans for allocating their housing and community development resources.

This webinar will equip you to communicate about the AFFH rule with a range of audiences in a variety of contexts. We will discuss messaging tips, communications plans for the announcement of the rule, and provide you with a framework for discussing AFFH before, during, and after its release.
