Why I use Jazz III picks (1.14mm)

I like thick picks - but this is probably the thickest I am willing to go. The 1.14 mm gauge has a nice balance for my playing style: no matter if I am soloing or playing rhythms. There are other gauges, however, if you want to check them out:
