How Elevating Ignorance Has Backfired on the Black community

The manner in which African-Americans' ancestors were brought to the United States and the system of slavery that they toiled under makes them a very unique ethnic group in America. Because of this, it has left a scar that seems to be in a perpetual state of healing, but it never seems complete. To compound the problem African-Americans have an appealing culture and gifts and talents that make them stand out. So, to the world, they're/we're making great progress. But internally, African-Americans suffer from self-hatred, instability and ignorance. This video explores three areas of ignorance that has set the race back and has backfired on their attempts to progress and move ahead. Education, politics and social culture are the three areas in which this video speaks on. These are areas that will have to be corrected if African-Americans are going to survive, thrive, and make the advances in the areas of education, politics, and social culture that is needed for them/us to keep pace with the rest of the country and the world.
