This is a video of our first impression of Finger Lakes Wine Country. We have to admit, we knew next to nothing about this beautiful area of New York before we came. Assuming it was a small town with lots of really sweet wines.

Little did we know we were absolutely wrong.

The Finger Lakes are filled with hundreds of beautiful cascading waterfalls, lush greenery everywhere and some of the most charming little towns we’ve ever seen.

Since we didn’t have a strong focus, and were just exploring around for a week, we thought it would be fun to put together a sort of highlight reel from our trip.

Which consisted of hiking in Watkins Glens state park and Taughannack falls to see waterfalls. Tasting from over 15 different wineries and taking a schooner out on Seneca lake.

We definitely will be back to explore more of what Finger Lakes Wine Country has to offer.
