I spent two nights in this remarkable location on isla Phia Phia, it was one of the most beautiful wildcamping spots I have ever been in life. I would have stayed longer if I had more water with me but since I used it all I had to find my way out of this vast environment.

I had a bit of a hard time finding this way out. There are no streets or paths you can follow, I just had an idea of the direct I have go, South.

On my way out of the Salar I hit some wet salt pools and Urma really got covered in a cm thick crust of salt as were my clothes and boots. So the first thing was to find a place where I can wash down my bike and myself.
After a tricky section through wet salt I found a way out of there and suddenly there was some kind of street. What a relief when you see the first truck, reassuring me that I'm on the right track.

I followed this track and after a few km more I also found the simple car wash. As it turned out that was also the place I intended to stay for the night. As usual it got two nights and I spent a day with editing the Photos I shot out there.

This whole experience will be in my mind forever. This feeling of absolutely free riding wherever you want was special.

I am thankful I was able to experience this surreal environment and that I made it in and out without major problems. Hell yeah, unforgettable!
