Join Buddy and I for an evening out on the town! Train spotting of course! We went over to Rana. A historical rail area, Rana is an urban neighborhood located in Colton, California. We caught three quick trains and made a little movie for you. There also is a tied down train sitting on the tracks in all three videos. We were waiting for it to untie. But they finally called on the radio and said it would be about an hour later so we went and got some dinner and went home. The first train is an eastbound Metrolink passenger train. It’s nice and quiet if it is it gently moves past. The second lash up is a decent freight manifest train. It’s heading westbound. On point we have BNSF 6526 ES44C4 BNSF 5361 Dash9-44CW and BNSF 7762 and 7724 ES44DC. There are tank cars, hoppers, autoracks and lumber cars. You will notice one of the Liquified Petroleum Gas LPG Tank rail cars has an open lid. First time seeing this I think. A couple classic autoracks. A Southern Pacific and a GT Grand Trunk classic oldies! On to our last train. An eastbound Stack train. Pretty simple lash up with JB Hunt,Walmart, Schneider and a few others. It was relaxing to get out with my boy Buddy. Love you guys. We will catch you on the next one!
