⛰️🌲 In 2020 we made the life altering decision to buy a rundown motel in the small mountain enclave of Promised Land. We then left our beautiful home in the city and moved into unit 9 with our kids.

Our goal: Fix it up and reopen as a boutique hotel. What followed was anything but simple.

We didn't think that finding Promised Land would change our life in the way that it did, or that we would be shifting our careers to focus on renovating, restoring, and building businesses in a rural mountain community. ❤️

This is our story of how that came to be.
