Blurred into the reams, the kerning in between the ink drying below.

In lieu of every day, the promises you made, you settle for tomorrow. The truth of who you are is not so deep and dark, it’s every act that follows.

Ever upward, ever on, trembling under the beyond.
Such misfortune unaccounted
to exist as creatures, grounded.
Doomed to amble, cursed to roam, only gambling with the known.
The sky is unrelenting, so beloved but unforgiving.

What is worth a thousand words to you?
A version which reflects your point of view, no matter how askew? And could you even see your vision through?
Or would our world eject you into the blue, no matter what you do?

Risky venture! You don't evolve, you never fail.
Twist the picture, to deconvolve the doubt so stale, and
quick to censure, the steel resolve yet uncurtailed.
Fixed to center, can't circumvolve this chronic ail.
Syntonic Veil of grit unmoored.

When you're flying, how will you come down?
Horrifying, staring at the
ground…
Racing through the
clouds…
Escalating on your lonely route…

Fall into the sky, beyond man or divine, a million years from home. Determined and afraid, a nervous castaway who dreamt of grand chateaus.
Now you are by yourself, but dressed as someone else while
drifting to the stars.
And everyone you loved below is now above, your own life in your heart.

Nekrowinter is an independent metal band hailing from Versailles, KY comprised of Donnie Helme, Andrew Anderson, Forrest Parrott, Justin Goff, and Austyn Fain.

We’ve been told that we sound like a blend of Cannibal Corpse and System of a Down. Ultimately, we just kind of do whatever we want, so you’ll probably never get a straight sub-genre out of us.
