Job Responsibilities:
Mainly I had been working as a medical laboratory technologist since several years. I had to operate a variety of complicated instruments. So I have good motor skills, hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. In addition to technical skills, I must have a strong attention to detail in order to detect subtle change to the microscopic appearance of blood, tissue and bacterial cells. I also determined the validity of the results obtained, which requires analytical and critical thinking. I worked in an ever-evolving environment, and on occasion need to design new procedures to reflect the rapid pace of change in their workplace. Whether working alone or as a member of a team, I was able to manage time efficiently and communicate clearly, sometimes in high stress situations.
I was responsible for performing professional laboratory work following established clinic procedures and performing chemical and biological tests on patient specimens for medical diagnosis. I conducted laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. I also in charge of analyzing bodily fluids like blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine the presence of normal and abnormal components. I supervised the supportive stuffs in the laboratory and maintain the quality of the reagent and accuracy of using instruments. For this, monitoring total cleanliness was must to maintain. These were my responsibilities at my working laboratory.
