On Sunday, November 3, the Teatro Manuel España hosted the inaugural Mijas Fashion Day, an event filled with creativity, learning, and opportunity for our young fashion design students from Marbella Design Academy.

The day featured two insightful panel discussions with industry experts, as well as a fashion show and competition, showcasing the talent and hard work of our students. We were honored to have notable industry personalities in attendance, including the esteemed designer Fran Gallardo from Mijas.
Our students from the fashion courses and Design Foundation Course played crucial roles in preparing for the event. They worked on makeup with the support of Antonio-Eloy Escuela Profesional and ensured the outfits were runway-ready with assistance from Escuela de Costura Costurmoda.

Our talented students presented 15 unique designs, each created specifically for this event.
Congratulations to Gabriel Carus, who won the competition with his outfit inspired by traditional Japanese fashion and enhanced with vibrant Angolan fabrics.

We are incredibly proud of our students' dedication and the camaraderie they displayed. The enthusiasm and teamwork demonstrated during this event truly reflect the supportive and creative environment we foster at Marbella Design Academy.

This is just one example of the hands-on learning opportunities our students receive, preparing them for successful careers in fashion and design.
