• THREE BOOTLEGGRS ARRESTED BY AATS, DWARKA DISTRICT.
• TOTAL 972 QUARTERS, 24 BEER CANS & 27 BEER BOTTLES OF ILLEGAL LIQUOR CONFISCATED.
• ONE CRETA CAR & SCOOTY BEING USED IN TRANSPORTATION OF ILLEGAL LIQUOR ALSO CONFISCATED.

 BRIEF DETAIL OF INCIDENTS-
With the view to curb illegal liquor supply in the upcoming elections, a special drive against bootleggers is carried out in Dwarka District and a dedicated team led by Insp. Kamlesh Kumar, I/c AATS Dwraka, comprising SI Dinesh Kumar, ASI Topehs, ASI Mukesh, and HC Jagat under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, was constituted to nab the bootleggers and suppliers of illegal liquor in the jurisdiction of Dwarka. Secret informers were also deployed in the area to get information in this regard.
On 14/11/22, secret information was received regarding the supply of huge quantity of illegal liquor in the area of Jaffarpur & BHD Nagar. As per information raids were conducted in the area of Jaffarpur & BHD Nagar. At the instance of secret informers three persons were apprehended by the team from Ujjawa Village, and BHD Nagar while they were going to supply illegal liquor by car. On enquiry, they disclosed their name and address as Arun @ Rinku R/o Village Ujjawa, Delhi, Age 33 years, and Ramakant R/o Jai Vihar, Najafgarh, Age 37 years and Deepak @ Baniya R/o Village Dichau Kalan, New Delhi, Age 38 years.
During checking of the car huge quantity of illegal liquor (15 Peti) were found in the car and 350 quarters of illegal liquor were recovered from the possession of accused Deepak @ Baniya. Similarly, during patrolling by HC Bhagirath in the area of Hari Vihar, Kakrola, Dwarka one person was roaming on the scooty in odd hours carrying one white platic bag which was then chased, on seeing police he tried to flee and parked his scooty in the streets and fled away. On checking of plastic bag 52 quarters of illegal liquor were recovered. The illegal liquor and scooty being used in transportation of illegal liquor was confiscated from the place of occurrence. Accordingly, three cases vide FIR No. 222/22, 552/22 & 765/22 U/s 33/38/58 Delhi Excise Act were registered at PS Jaffarpur Kalan, PS BHD Nagar & PS Dwarka North.
 ACCUSED ARRESTED-

• Arun @ Rinku R/o Village Ujjawa, Delhi, Age 33 years.
• Ramakant R/o Jai Vihar, Najafgarh, Age 37 years.
• Deepak @ Baniya R/o Village Dichau Kalan, New Delhi, Age 38 years.

 RECOVERY-

• 01 Creta Car being used in transportation of illegal liquor.
• 01 scooty being used in the transportation of illegal liquor.
• 972 quarters of illegal liquor.
• 24 beer cans.
• 27 beer bottles.
