Earth 2031: When Giants Remember

2031. 94% of surface cities uninhabitable. The Giants don't hate humanity. Something worse — they've forgotten they were ever part of it.
When scientist Maya discovers that every Giant on Earth has structured, rhythmic brain wave activity — capable of pain, capable of grief — General Voss's response is a single sentence: "That makes them dangerous." Cole has been following those orders since the war began. He's precise because of it. He's empty because of it.

Then they find Rael.

28 feet of grey-brown flesh, seated in the ruins of a destroyed city, holding a child's crayon drawing in his enormous hand. Looking at it. For four minutes. Trying to remember something the size of everything he lost.

A Giant who shielded a scientist from a sonic shockwave because something in him bypassed every defense he had left. A Giant whose first word back was "Re...member." A Giant who stood in front of the Glass Bunker, extended both arms, and pulled three of his own kind toward him — because he had already counted: forty thousand.

Cole. Maya. Voss. And one Giant who said "Human" while pointing at himself.

Not a war story. A question: what do you become when you finally see what's been in front of you the whole time?

Themes include grief that cannot be expressed at scale, the violence of being dismissed when you are right, a soldier learning to see something he spent years not looking at, and one final Giant who stops — for reasons the film does not explain and does not need to. Recommended for mature audiences 15+.
