Starting Down the River

After a week of problems with fuel, starter, trim, all sorts of pumps and leaks; we took Mark Twains advice; we cast off the bow lines and sailed away from safe harbor. In the back of my mind we might only make it a few miles before something broke and we were stranded. But like most fears we imagine, that did not happen. Instead we had a wonderful trip and even stopped to spend our first night on the river.
