Modal Analysis using Hypermesh Optistruct

This tutorial explains the process to set up and run a modal analysis using the Optistruct solver in Hypermesh. The modal analysis involves the determination of the natural frequencies and mode shapes of vibration of any given component. This is done using the Real Eigenvalue Extraction method (EIGRL).
In this simulation, the first 10 modes of vibration of a cantilever beam are determined over the entire frequency spectrum.
