La oposición venezolana protesta este miércoles, 28 de agosto, en Caracas y otros puntos del país contra el fallo judicial que convalidó el controvertido triunfo de Nicolás Maduro en los comicios celebrados hace un mes, mientras que los chavistas se movilizan para “celebrar la victoria” proclamada por el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE). La principal coalición opositora, la Plataforma Unitaria Democrática (PUD), convocó a sus seguidores a las calles al cumplirse un mes de las elecciones en las que, insiste, su candidato, Edmundo González Urrutia, obtuvo la mayoría de votos.

The Venezuelan opposition is protesting this Wednesday, August 28, in Caracas and other parts of the country against the court ruling that validated the controversial victory of Nicolás Maduro in the elections held a month ago, while the Chavistas are mobilizing to “celebrate the victory” proclaimed by the National Electoral Council (CNE).
