The year I lost everything.

This is a different kind of video.

No heavy edits. No hype. Just a real walk through the woods in search of epic camping spots—one of my favorite things to do—and an honest story I’ve never fully told.

In this video, I take you back to the year my entire life collapsed.

I went from making great money in a successful career in the solar industry, chasing the next deal and the next dollar… to losing everything.
My home.
My vehicle.
My financial security.
And eventually, my sense of direction.

While hiking to the top of Observation Point in Zion National Park, standing above one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen, something hit me hard. I realized I had spent years of my life chasing money instead of meaning. That moment quietly changed everything—right before I hit absolute rock bottom.

Not long after, I found myself completely broke with nowhere to live. I bought a van simply so I could survive… and that became the start of my reset.

This video is about rock bottom, starting over, and choosing a different path.

Along the hike, we actually find a few incredible hidden camping spots, and at one point we even cross paths with wild deer moving through the forest—one of those quiet moments that reminds you why being out here matters.

Today, I live the truck camper life, traveling, camping, and building a simpler life focused on freedom, nature, and purpose. This channel is about truck camper living, off-grid camping, minimalist living, and real stories behind the journey—not just the highlights.
