How to Install Inside Mount Lifestyle Roller and Solar Shades

Most people think installing their own blinds is hard. Following the simple, step-by-step instructions in this video though makes hanging your custom roller/solar shades easy to do yourself! Today we’ll show you how to put up a roller with an optional deco fascia.

Here’s how you do it:

1. Clip the fascia L brackets to the fascia magnets, hold the valance to the top of the window until it’s flush with the wall, and then secure the L brackets with the included screws.

2. Remove the fascia from the window and set it aside.

3. Measure back and mark the depth of 2 ¾” at each top corner of the window. Line up the back edge of a bracket with each mark, and then use your pencil to mark the screw holes.

4. Use your 5/64” drill bit to create a pilot hole at each screw hole mark.

5. Attach the mounting brackets using your drill and the provided screws.

6. Clip the idle pin to the bracket that corresponds with the pinhole on the end of your shade.

7. Attach the shade to the brackets, starting with the pin side first.

8. Use your hand to lift and lower the shade by grabbing the center of the bottom rail.

9. Reattach the fascia to the magnets on the L brackets, and you’re done! Congratulations!
