EXPLAINATIONS:

Killer has 4 soul stages. stage 1 is where he feels real emotions. stage 2 is his default stage,
stage 3 is when he's a psychopath and kills everything in his sight. stage 4 is unknown but is worse than stage 3
in my AU (and in canon i think-) Nightmare has the power to revert Killer's soul to stage 2 aka back to default
and he keeps him at stage 2 at all times. it's pretty rare to see Killer at stage 1.
(YES I KNOW KILLER'S SOUL IS DIFFERENT WHEN HE'S AT STAGE 1 BUT I FELT TOO LAZY TO CHANGE IT 💀
so instead i gave him highlights in his eyes. AND YES i know he only has those when his original self is showing
but i don't how else i'm suppose to show him at stage 1 ;-;)


CONTEXT:
Killer and Dream are in a secret relationship Nobody else knows about it.
One day they decided to go on a date. they said they'd meet up at 9 but Killer
couldn't go because of a sudden mission Nightmare assigned to him. thus forcing
Dream to wait while Killer went to assasinate people. Dream is approached by his
friends (Ink and Core!Frisk) to go do other activities but Dream denies their request
and insists on waiting. after a while Dream lost faith and decided to go home
but Killer showed up just in time, he explained and they went home to watch a movie.
But, Nightmare followed Killer to make sure he did his job properly, after Killer finished
assasinating people he went straight to Dream and didn't report back to Nightmare
which caused Nightmare to follow him and eventually find out about their relationship.
