截教號稱是“萬仙來朝”，門下弟子眾多，又是有教無類，所以不管男女老少，石頭、動物、植物等，只要想修行，都可以入教學習。話說截教有五大聖母級別的弟子，她們各自的本領不一樣，實力也就各有高低。其中五大聖母最為出名，這五大聖母分別是金靈聖母、無當聖母、龜靈聖母、火靈聖母、金光聖母。
