This was the hardest one compares to last year. Is not about the 600km route, is the weather really matters. First day, been rain whole day, you have to bare with cold and soggy wet 🌧 conditions especially you wearing the shoe with soaking wet for many hours until your toe gets numb.

Second day, one of my friend who unable to continue and he has to give up. No choice, only left 2 of us. Extremely hot weather until your skin feels the burning 🔥 sensation. What important is to keep hydrated and eye focus on the road. This really test your limit on physical and mental which your body really have to endure all the pain. The most important is to stay safe and always enjoy what you do.

Towards the finishing, if I not mistaken just another 40km+ one of my teammate accident fall from the bike. Very minor injury but he’s ok. We continued and slow down abit to ensured we reach safely. Overall is not about speed but at least towards the end, you don’t feel suffer. Still can rocking and jumping 🤪✌️

Done and dusted ✅, officially completed the season and claim my SR for 2021. Have to thanks to my teammates who tag along the journey.


Always remembered:
Audax is not a race. You don't have podium. Is all about self management, planning and strategy. Make sure this ride is fun and always believe in yourself, nothing is impossible when you want to fulfill a dream. A lot of people will tell you that you can't do it, that you don't have what it takes, but if it is in your heart and you feel it, there is nothing that will stop you. It is like the sun - you can't block it: it will shine regardless, if that is what you want...
