Star Wars Cloud City Diorama Build - Bespin Escape Black Series Figures

Hi everyone, in this video I share how I built my Empire Strikes Back Cloud City (Bespin Escape) diorama for my Star Wars The Black Series 6" figures. The diorama features a cylindrical elevator with an operable pocket door, made from a 1 gallon plastic paint can. The diorama is made mostly from foam poster board, styrofoam, white card stock paper, and some white pvc plumbing pipe. The windows and door graphics were purchased from Cardboard Galaxy on ebay. The lights are wired Ledberg spot lights from Ikea.

I had a lot of fun building this diorama, especially figuring out how to make the elevator and the curved foam archway. This was a total scratch build for me. I started with a few figures I knew I wanted to display, the Cardboard Galaxy graphics, and knowing I was going to put it into a single Ikea Kallax cube shelf.

I always loved the parts of Empire Strikes Back where princess Leia and Chewbacca were trying to escape, finally helped by Lando, while Luke and R2D2 were trying to sneak in and rescue them. The Black series figures of Chewy with 3PO on his back, and the Bespin Escape outfit Leia are excellent figures, and definitely deserved an excellent display on my shelf!
