The wheat is combined, chopped, baled and put away. What a crazy couple days on our dairy farm. We put wheat straw up in our 50' silo to feed to our pre fresh for filler. Wheat straw happens to be one of the best straws a cow can eat having the right digestibility, and matter, and that's why we feed it over any other straw. It has been a battle playing our cards against the rain constantly.
