This is the AW1 actuator with BW ball valve from JP Fluid Control.
The AW1 is a robust actuator that comes with either 2-point or 3-point control. This means that you can either have 1 steering signal for the complete operation or 2 separate signals for opening and closing. In both cases, the electrical power supply has to be connected at all times, so if the power were to fall out, the actuator will stop moving and remain in position.
The actuator can only be attached to a corresponding 2 or 3-way brass ball valve from the BW series. These ball valves have a messing casing with chrome ball and a PTFE, also known as Teflon sealing. The valve is very suitable as a zone valve in heating systems, but also for other light applications such as oil or lubricated compressed air.
The combinations are available in various different voltages ranging from 12v to 230v with one half, three-quarter and 1-inch connections.
