I am sharing some tips that I have used in my home to help create a simple and realistic approach to kids toys. I also share the toys I find actually get used and we have kept in our toy collection.

Children thrive in a simple environment where their imaginations and creativity can run wild. Literally as I write this, my kiddos are making a fort out of blankets and pillows and making up a whole story line with each other. It is beautiful to see.

When we overwhelm them with too many toys and an overstimulating environment, we create a space that is hard for them to focus and create positive playtime.
