I Forgot to Remember to Forget - Take #1 (21st October 2024)

This is a new concept for a song I'm cooking up. I've recently starting making a pedalboard and really wanna experiment with sounds. The whole piece is so I can familiarise myself with how to use loops effectively by myself and explore sonic spaces organically without other people. It'll always be mostly improvised with big general ideas floating in and out. I have already got plenty more ideas to add to this, in addition to a new loop pedal which should make this even smoother.

The more I play this song, the more familiar I'm going to get with the structure and with the vocal passage. The vocals go for at least 25 minutes in the original video so this will end up being a behemoth of a song (this recording started halfway through the video). My main next focus is to try and work on fading in and out of sections, this will probably be done with drone notes which I can then build off of.
