“The song of the shaman's assistant, or rather the song that the shaman's assistant performs when the shaman makes the transition between worlds. With the help of this song, the person helping the shaman in his rite helps to complete this very transition, picking up the rhythm of the shaman's drum.
This track, like all the other songs on the ‘Songs of the Shaman’ album, is a recording of a real authentic Tunguso-Manchu shamanic ritual. The lyrics of the song have come down to us from ancient Chinese sources.
