About the Warship: A large submarine designed for joint operations with surface ships, long-distance raids, and minelaying missions (K-class, XIV series). She was armed with 10 torpedo tubes and had a relatively high surface speed. The lead submarine, K-1, operated in Northern waters during World War II, and several German ships were sunk by her mines. The submarine herself disappeared without a trace in 1943.
