After owning this guitar for a few months here are some observations-

Installing strings top loaded vs through body- no noticeable tone difference, but strings feel more slinky top loaded.

Tone- this is darker than a standard Tele due to the pickups and possibly the ash body.

The neck pickup sounds pretty standard but the bridge is darker and more output than a 50 s Tele. To my ears, you can closer to the Led Zep 1 tones with a 50s alder body Tele , tone turned down than this guitar. It is still a very cool , unique guitar.

The neck is an odd D shape, but it feels great and broken in. It seems more like a Gibsonish kind of neck to me.

The pickgaurd looks very cool and psychedelic in person and the artwork looks great.
