The documentary studies, through various points of views, the impact that the shutdown on mining in Goa has had on the people of the surrounding Sattari and Harvalem region. Throughout the documentary, the viewer gets to know the history of mining ban in Goa along with stories of people in and around Sanquelim.

Perspectives represented:
Mr. Gurudas Gawde & Mrs. Geeta Gawde: First-hand account of what they went through due to the mining ban.
Mr. Rahul: He provides an outsider’s perspective as someone who’s been born and brought up in Sanquelim and has seen the rise and fall of people associated with mining.
Prof. Vithal S. Sukhathanker: An academician’s views by someone who has both experienced as well as studied closely the impact of mining ban in the surrounding area.
