Biofloc nowadays getting more popular because of its ability to provide high-density fish farming in a very small area. Nitrifying Process - Ammonia Oxidising Bacteria (AOB) Converts Ammonia to Nitrite

Heterotrophic Process - In Ammonia Assimilation Process, Ammonia Removed from Fish Tank and
Undigested Feed Get Converted into Mycobacterial Proteins for Fishes.

Nitrifying and Heterotrophic Process is a debatable topic, some may not like my way of suggesting the things. It's absolutely fine as long as you are able to manage your Biofloc System perfectly.
