Anxiety is my first collaboration with songwriter Graham Green.

The inspiration behind Graham's lyrics were the feeling of years of being taken advantage of, feeling he wasn't enough and learning how to trust people again. With the realisation that his wife is 100% behind him and not going to let him down in anyway, it is essentially a story of Graham's journey to believe in himself and not push people away because he'd been hurt before.

I was honoured to have been asked to put music to his lyrics and tried to come up with something that fitted the style he had in mind for the song. Although I'd got a few songs recorded myself at this point, I hadn't planned on putting a new album out but then, when Graham gave his approval for this song, I thought it would work well with my other new songs and so, the Earthquake Child album was born. So, it's really fitting that this song should be the first to get a music video as really, it helped make the whole album happen.
