Liv Maessen's renowned deep voice is given a full work out on this excellent arrangement of John Lennon/The Beatles classic "In My Life", with a lot more 'rock' here than one usually associates with Liv's usual MOR/Pop fair. This builds beautifully from an acoustic slide & percussion beginning, with the lady's voice perhaps deeper than ever. Then from about the half way mark the guitars soar, the drums descend with a thump, and Liv changes key upwards to alter the song quite unexpectedly. A great version indeed from, some might think, an unlikely source
